Komodo Sailing Trip is operated by Timur Adventour Indonesia — a travel company founded and based in Labuan Bajo, Flores. We started with one boat and a straightforward belief: the best way to see Komodo is by being on the water, not flying over it for a day trip.
We now operate 17 traditional phinisi vessels across three classes. Every captain, guide, and crew member is local — most of them grew up on these waters. They know the currents, the quiet bays, and the spots that don't appear on any tourist map.

Timur Adventour Indonesia was built specifically to bring people to Komodo — not as a tour aggregator, but as a direct operator. That means when you book with us, there's no middleman marking up the price and no third party handling the logistics.
Our office is in Labuan Bajo. Not Jakarta, not Bali. When something changes — weather, a tide shift, a better spot — the decision is made on the boat by people who know what they're doing.
The name Timur Adventour comes from "Timur" — East in Indonesian — because everything we do points toward the eastern archipelago: Komodo, Flores, Sumbawa, the waters most travelers never reach but always remember.
