We now operate 24+ traditional phinisi vessels across three classes. Every captain, guide, and crew member is local — most of them grew up on these waters. They know the currents, the quiet bays, and the spots that don't appear on any tourist map.

From a laptop in another country, you cannot tell a meticulously kept vessel from one that was repainted last week.
We are in Labuan Bajo. We have walked these decks, met the captains, and seen which boats keep their word and which cut corners. Komodo Sailing Trip is the filter: seventeen vessels we have vetted, across three honest classes, so what sits in front of you is already a shortlist of boats we would put our own name to.
We don't own them, and that is the point. It leaves us free to match you to the right boat for your trip, your budget, and your dates, instead of pushing the one hull we happen to have.
The name Timur Adventour comes from Timur, East in Indonesian, because everything we do points toward the eastern archipelago: Komodo, Flores, Sumba, Sumbawa. The waters most travelers never reach, and never forget.

Every boat here is inspected and held to a standard we set: safety gear, cabin condition, crew experience. If a boat slips it comes off the list, so you're choosing from a shortlist, not a directory.
Our office is in Lombok & Labuan Bajo, not Jakarta or Bali.Whatever turns on weather, tides, or a better anchorage gets decided on the ground here, with captains who grew up on these waters.
